What is a Vitalist?

A Vitalist is someone who chooses to remain fully engaged in life — intellectually curious, socially connected, physically active, and emotionally present.

At most retirement communities, residents join activities. At Villa Marin, residents build the community.

A Vitalist believes life is still meant to be created—not simply observed.

At Villa Marin, residents don't just attend events; they shape the community itself. More than twenty resident-led committees keep Villa Marin vibrant, welcoming, and continually evolving.

For example, our Art Committee transforms hallways and gathering spaces into rotating galleries, bringing creativity and conversation into everyday life.

The Villa Voices Committee publishes our community newsletter, sharing stories, celebrating neighbors, and preserving the unique spirit of Villa Marin through resident journalism.

Whether serving on a committee, mentoring a neighbor, leading a club, or championing a new idea, Vitalists understand that purpose grows through participation.

Here, your next chapter isn't about slowing down—it's about having a voice, making an impact, and continuing to create a life that matters.
